John has been tireless in his efforts to find the perfect property for my wife and me. We are still looking for that forever home; however, John did help me with an investment property in the meanwhile. When my wife and I started our search for a property in Florida, I was referred to John August by a friend who had recently moved to Longboat Key. After listening to my friend I thought..."wow, could this real estate agent be THAT good"? I soon found the answer to be "Yes". First off, (and most important to me) John is one of the nicest people I have met. Second, he was an absolute professional in his methodology to determine the desires and requirements we were looking for in a property. We gave him a "wish list" which he completely met. After looking at several properties on a trip to the area, I realized how good John is when it was obvious the first property John recommended was ultimately the one for us. He then walked us through the steps to close with precision. We were attempting to close on the property while in a different state and we worried how many trips we'd need to make. (meet inspector, HOA, insurance) Thankfully, John handled every detail for us!

So where do I start ? My Wife and I started to look for retirement area on Thanksgiving week three years ago , and walked into Michael Saundars & Company office on St Armand's circle . Our first meeting with John,; and we were a long way from buying ! 21/2 years in fact Over the next two years , many encounters with other Relators , John was the only one that stayed " the course" with us . John regularly sent us via Email homes that were listed over the next two plus years This past spring it was time to look seriously John would prepare a list of homes , we would fly down spend a couple days with John ,driving us around viewing homes During this sorting of homes ,Johns expertise and years of experience came into play as he helped us inspect homes giving us inexperienced / novice / uninformed etc home shoppers much needed and greatly appreciated advise on the plus's and minus's of each house . He never pushed a sale or showed any sign of trying to close a deal,( he was very patient ,)with more homes on his list - pushing , would have been below his character During the process of closing he again stepped up to the plate giving much need guidance thru this procedure that was completely out of our realm of knowledge ,solving problems with Attorneys , Lenders , Owner and on and on At the end of this story - he helped us find our perfect home that my wife will totally change ! John has become a friend thru this process ; my wife and I truly enjoy his company as well as his advice and council In conclusion - Thank You John August Anyone may feel free to contact me in his regard , I highly recommend John without reservation for your next home or selling your home : he is amazing !
